The ICT Academy is devoted to preparing the students to be productive members of the South African economy and; importantly, the societies in which they come from. Meet the people behind the scenes who make this possible.
The ICT Academy Operations Committee (OPS) is a forum composed of the management team of the ICT academy, the curriculum provider’s representatives and designated trainers. Their role is to ensure that training standards are adhered to. The OPS team assists the ICT academy management with all operational requirements and training needs.
The ICT Academy Executive Committee (Exco) serves as a management forum that represents the interests of each consortium member involved in the ICT Academy. Exco meets once a month to provide strategic and operational input for the running of the ICT academy.
The ICT Academy staff is the team that works with students at the academy everyday and sees to it that training is conducted as planned. Furthermore, these individuals also administer day -to-day academy activities like ensuring that students do attend lessons and that the academy can cope with the workload administration.
